GENERAL TRAINING INFORMATION
Accessibility dot Net recognizes that quality training is an essential component to our customers' success when utilizing adaptive computers. Our experience gives us the training background and product knowledge needed to address individual or group training needs using a comprehensive approach.
Classroom Training
The Accessibility dot Net training classroom is fully equipped with the latest in screen reader, screen magnification, and scan-and-read technologies. It is designed to accommodate up to four participants in each class. Our classroom training teaches participants the skills needed to effectively use the Internet and many of today's popular applications. Classes are designed to meet the needs of end-users as well as teachers of the blind and visually impaired, rehabilitation professionals, and employers of persons who are blind and visually impaired. Our current schedule of classes includes a two class series on the JAWS for Windows Screen Reader, a two class series on using the Internet with JAWS for Windows and a class on ZoomText 8.1 Magnifier/ScreenReader.
Custom classroom training is also available for any of the adaptive technologies we represent. Please contact us if you are interested in coordinating small group training opportunities for your organization and we will work with you to develop a customized training curriculum to meet your needs.
Customized One-on-One Training
Whether you are new to adaptive technology, an advanced user needing training on just a few specific topics or if you are an end-user that falls somewhere between the two in terms of training needs; our customized one-on-one training is an excellent option. One-on-one training targets a customer's specific needs without spending time on areas with which they are already familiar. The training can be delivered at a pace that best meets an individuals needs and is most compatible with their learning styles. One-on-one training offers greater flexibility in scheduling and location. Training can be done in our office using the technology in our training classroom or at the customer's home, school or work using their technology. Customized one-on-one training is available at our basic hourly rate (travel rates and minimum hours on-site apply outside of the Omaha Metro area).
